Free Music Downloads from Terra Incognita CDs

Published December 16, 2010 in Lyrics , Music , Publicity , Roswell Six , Terra Incognita - 0 Comments

Getting started a little early on the holiday gifts.  We have arranged with ProgRock Records to offer free downloads of two complete Roswell Six music tracks, one from each Terra Incognita CD.

Victory” is from Terra Incognita: A Line in the Sand, an epic song with vocals by Michael Sadler (formerly of Saga) and excellent guitar work by Henning Pauly [lyrics by Kevin J. Anderson and Rebecca Moesta; music by Henning Pauly]. Download here.

I Am the Point” is from Terra Incognita: Beyond the Horizon, a powerful rocker with vocals by James LaBrie (Dream Theater) [lyrics by Kevin J. Anderson and Rebecca Moesta; music by Erik Norlander]. Download here.

These two CDs are companions to my Terra Incognita novels The Edge of the World and The Map of All Things.  You can order signed copies of the books and CDs from anderzoneshop.com.

Writing Productivity Podcast & Catching Up

There’s always a price tag on a trip.

After returning from our 7-day trip to the United Arab Emirates and the Sharjah Book Fair, we had to make up for the lost work time.  We had delivered the manuscript for Star Challengers: Space Station Crisis from the hotel room in Sharjah, but now we had two weeks for Rebecca to do her fine-line copy edit on the 700-page final manuscript of The Key to Creation, the third and final novel in the Terra Incognita trilogy, while I did the first major edit on The Sisterhood of Dune.  Just delivered both manuscripts yesterday. The Key to Creation will be released in June 2011.

I also did a free writing podcast on how to increase your writing productivity.  I’ll be writing up the eleven tips in a series of upcoming blogs, but you can listen to the full writing podcast here as well as a separate Q&A session.

Also, writers, don’t forget about the next Superstars Writing Seminar in January–three days of intensive training in how to be a professional writer.

Cover Painting for THE KEY TO CREATION

As I worked on the outline and draft for the third novel in the Terra Incognita trilogy, The Key to Creation, I sent the summary and suggested some ideas to the cover artist, Lee Gibbons.  Lee created amazing cover paintings for The Edge of the World and The Map of All Things, and also provided the cover images for the two Roswell Six companion CDs, Beyond the Horizon and A Line in the Sand.  It’s no surprise that he’s done it again for The Key to Creation.

I saw the sketches of his work in progress, but the final painting is truly breathtaking, capturing the epic feel of the trilogy.

The Key to Creation will be released from Orbit Books in June 2011.
