“Swept Away” — New Terra Incognita Music Track Up

We've posted a third sample track from the CD "Terra Incognita: Beyond the Horizon," tied to my novel The Edge of the World. The song, "Swept Away," has vocals by Lana Lane and Michael Sadler (formerly of Saga), and a killer guitar riff by Chris Brown from Ghost Circus. In the story, the two characters Adrea (Lane) and Criston (Sadler) have been torn apart by tragic circumstances and find themselves on opposite sides of the world, with little hope of ever seeing each other again. Finished! Nearly two years after Shawn Gordon and I began to talk about an innovative crossover rock CD and fantasy novel, “Terra Incognita: Beyond the Horizon” is now in its final stages. Erik Norlander has finished mixing all 13 tracks, including the instrumental finale/epilogue, “The Edge of the World,” and has turned the entire album over to our crack mastering artist, Chris Brown, who also played acoustic and additional electric guitars on the tracks.
