Writers of the Future: The First 25 Years Included Among Year’s Best
Locus Magazine just gave us a very nice nod in their Year in Review: “Coffee table book L. Ron Hubbard Presents Writers of the Future: The First 25 Years, edited by Kevin J. Anderson (Galaxy Press) is an overview of the contest’s history with an eye-opening series of profiles of contest winners and judges, including biographical profiles and personal comments about the contest and their careers. This volume highlights how many of today’s successful and up-and-coming writers have been involved with the contest.”
SF Crowsnest also included Writers of the Future: The First 25 Years in their 100 Best SF Books of the Year (ranked at #66)
I’m extremely proud of the book (and of my many years judging the contest and helping to teach at the workshop)… This volume is one of those that turned out even better than I had hoped.
