After tracking down coffee for Rebecca and myself in the morning, then returning to the room (to finish email and to doodle/autograph another five copies of HELLHOLE) we got ready for our first full day of Hellhole signings and promotion—in Norwich. Our publicist for Simon & Schuster, Nigel Stoneman, met us in the hotel lobby and we all went to the Liverpool Street Station to board the train for Norwich, a 90-minute ride. Simon & Schuster UK and SFX Magazine have flown me and Rebecca over to England for a week of promoting Hellhole, which was just recently released. Leaving Colorado early Monday morning (just ahead of the onset of a nasty blizzard and plunging temperatures), we flew to Washington DC, changed planes, then headed off to Heathrow, landed at 5:30 AM, and arrived at the hotel just as dawn was breaking. Fortunately, our room was ready, so we were able to nap for a few hours to reset our schedules. Thirty copies of the new book waited for us in the room...
