Larry Hagman passed away today, in Dallas appropriately. Rebecca and I got to know Larry for two weeks in Australia, when we were traveling around together as guests for Supanova, along with Barbara Eden and James Marsters. A few months ago Rebecca hinted that she might like a trip to Disneyland for her birthday this year. She also pointed out there was a Rush concert in Anaheim on her birthday night, November 17. My writing schedule has always been full (some might say overloaded). Same for my travel and promotion schedule. I'm currently writing a 1000-page novel manuscript for The Dark Between the Stars, editing Mentats of Dune, and plotting my next three Dan Shamble, Zombie PI novels, as well as a couple of short stories I've promised to do.
